The Dress

This dress had been my favourite for years. Kate Middelton wore it in a jewel tone to an event and I knew if it came in white I had to have it. I am 5' 7" and weigh 125 lbs and I had this dress only slightly altered to fit my body. I normally wear a size 2-4 in clothing. The length hasn't been taken up at all, but a bustle has been added. The seamstress removed the belt so that only that would need to be altered if you lose or gain a couple lbs leading up the the wedding. You just make the belt slightly smaller/bigger and it brings in the shape of the dress. I had this dress dry cleaned and packaged up in professional storage ($650). This would be included with the sale of the dress and can be put away safely when you are done wearing it. I am also including a full length beaded Jenny Packham veil with the dress.

The dress was altered slightly to fit my shoulders, and sew in a B cup pad so no bra would be necessary. The cup can be removed or exchanged for a different cup size. The length of the dress wasn't changed at all, so it fit me at 5' 7" wearing 4 inch heels (I changed into 3 inch heels later and then 2.5 inch heels at the end of the night and all three worked with the length).
