The Dress
This is a beautiful dress I wore on my November wedding! The floral details on the skirt are subtle and since the skirt itself is a little sparkly and has a long train, it made the dress very stunning.
I found the dress very comfortable to be in all day and easy to wear and take off (had no problem changing into clothes and back into the dress to go to the bathroom!). I wore this dress for both the ceremony and reception because my tailor created a bustle in the back that tucks the train under the skirt. We had 600+ guests at our wedding and the dress had no issue as we greeted all 50+ tables during the reception.
I wore matching cathedral style veil with subtle beaded trims. Retail price: $750
Both the dress and the veil have been dry cleaned.
Alterations
I added bustle in the back and reduced the back to fit the bust. I normally wear size s~m or 4~6, and did not lose any weight to fit into the dress. Final alteration was made a week before the wedding. I am 5' 6" in tall and wore 1.5" sandals.
