The Dress

Beautiful flowy Kelsey rose dress with lace top and polka dot tuille sleeves and chiffon skirt. Bought in spring 2023 and worn once at my wedding on 2/9/23 which was a dry day. Dry cleaned and no marks. As new. Puddle train. Would fit someone who is 5’8 or could be shortened, where train could then be longer. Has a loop to put on your wrist in the evening and hold the train up to dance. So comfortable to wear. I was worried about showing a little stomach, waist and back fat, but this was so flattering and forgiving and I had so many comments on the day about how dreamy, simple and ethereal the dress was. I felt beautiful :)

Alterations

The dress was an open back and I bought extra tuille, lace and buttons from Kelsey Rose (£100) to create a beautiful V neck back. My dress maker also adjusted the length and built in better quality cups and soft boning structure to the bodice for support. She also lengthened the sleeves by letting out the stitching that was holding them as a puff sleeve at the wrist. Also she added tuille to the modesty panel so you couldn’t see under breasts. I still have the original smaller cups and spare lace and tuille.
