With custom fitted lace/sequin sleeves, making this truly a one of a kind gown. The original gown has very long winged sleeves, but I chose to have custom fitted sleeves for practicality and the original winged sleeves weren’t really my style!

I am so in love with this dress, it is such a show stopper and honestly just a work of art, the detail and craftsmanship that has gone into making it is breathtaking - and so as much as it pains me to let go of it I truly believe it is a crime to keep something so beautiful in the wardrobe never to see the light of day again. So I am hoping someone else can get just as much joy out of it as I did. Wearing it made me feel so confident, happy and glowing. My partner was speechless and couldn’t tear his eyes away.

The dress is a mermaid fit and has a stunning silhouette from all angles - I’ve tried to include photos from all angles in the listing. The train is mid length, and the lace at the end of the train graduates slowly from the delicate tiny sequins and beads you see through the middle of the dress into stunning lace flowers towards the end of the train.
The only wiring in the dress is under the bust (i.e. the usual “underwire bra” style wiring), there is no boning through the body and this made the dress extremely comfortable to wear, but still very supportive as the way Galia Lahav structures their dresses with internal nude stretch material meant I felt supported particularly across the stomach / waist area, without feeling restricted.
The sleeves have a slightly accentuated shoulder which adds to the dramatic plunging effect of the low back. There is also a very light blush/nude chiffon layer which modernises the dress and really makes the lace and sequin detailing pop.

My measurements are:
- bust 96cm
- waist 75cm
- hip 94cm
- height (including with the 8cm wedding shoes I wore) : 182cm

In terms of condition, there were a couple of tiny tears in the bottom of the delicate lace at the front of the gown, and these were fixed perfectly by the dry cleaner. There are no stains or marks on the dress and it is as pristine as new.

The gown retails for AUD 20,990 at Eternal Bridal, Sydney where I purchased it from. I bought it with a 10% off trunk show discount, and added the custom sleeve design which took the total I paid to AUD 19,366. The dress has been dry cleaned by professional wedding gown dry cleaners Blue & White (Neutral Bay, Sydney). The cost of the dry cleaning was AUD 790.

Alterations

The original sleeves on this design are winged and very long (down past the knees!). I had custom sleeves made which are fitted and finish just below the
wrist.
