The Dress

Gala by Galia Lahav - purchased in August 2022.

This is a stunning, vintage look Galia Lahav dress with 3D flowers and lace covering the bodice, straps and skirt the skirt with individual scattered pearl beading and clear sequins adding that extra special touch.

The dress is touch-floor length at the front with a train at the back. There is a thigh high split on the front left size which makes walking and moving around much easier. The underskirt has a soft glittery layer which is covered by the lace layer and gives a gentle shimmer effect.

The back of the dress is low with mesh panelling covering is 3D lace details and beading. The back edged with the same detail as the spaghetti straps. The deep plunging V neck line also has a mesh layer which helps to keep the bodice shape.

The colour is described as blush but I would say the top layer/lace detailing is closer to ivory.
The dress was altered to suit my shape but could be altered again to suit another bride. I can highly recommend an experienced seamstress for any necessary alterations.

This really was THE perfect dress and I hope that someone else can have as much enjoyment from it as I did on my big day. It was light-weight and extremely comfortable too which was a bonus! I have only worn the dress once and it has been expertly dry cleaned. It is in immaculate condition.

The dress was purchased from Browns Bride in London. The dress comes with the original tags, Galia Lahav coat hanger, Galia Lahav dress bag and Browns Bride protective travel bag.

With the dress, I am also selling the Browns Bride bespoke, handmade matching veil. The veil length extends beyond the train of the dress and has lace applique which matches the dress. The veil also has a blusher layer which can be worn to cover the face if desired.
