The Dress

It is a one piece but has the cut out around the waist that makes it really flattering. From the back it looks like a two piece with the waist opening.
The detail in the beading is beautiful. It comes with extra beads if needed. All the beading was hand stitched.
It’s light and delicate, extremely comfortable. Nothing about it is hard or stiff.
The V neck and closed upper back with cape meant I could wear any bra under it and it not be seen.
A slight mark on the back of the dress after it was dry cleaned which can barely be seen and light marks on the bottom/ underside of the dress where it touched the floor.
It’s in fantastic condition for a wedding dress especially given how delicate the silk is.
It was dry cleaned the week after the wedding and has been in the protective bag since, occasionally brought out for a bit of air.
When I bought it new I paid $5200.

Alterations

It’s a size 12 and the lower part was taken in a little as I needed the 12 for my bust.
About an inch came off the length of the dress at the front to accompany my relatively flat shoes. I am 166cm tall.
The dress maker placed thin padding in the breast area so I had a smooth bust shape.
