The Dress
I felt absolutely amazing in this Katherine Tash dress.
The bodice felt well-fitted and I didn’t need to wear a bra which worked well with the backless design.
There was enough room around the hips too and it made dancing easy with the flowing skirt.
The dress is in perfect condition and has been dry cleaned to its ready to wear.
Alterations
I’m 5ft 6inches and wore 3inch heels so we took the dress up to this height.
The spaghetti straps were also shortened so I felt supported. Fabric was also taken out of the waist at the back to fit my shape.
Due to the flowing skirt, the tailor attached fish hooks in 3 seperate places along the bottom to enable a shorter skirt during dancing.
I can ask the tailor for the exact measurements if needed but would recommend considering this if you’re a Size 10, as the original was a size 12.
