The Dress

I ordered this dress a few weeks after I was engaged - it was way too soon. I ordered size 18 instead of the 16 because I have quite wide hips and I wanted to make sure that it would be fitted exactly to my body - it's easier to take in than to let out! Plus Allure's sizings run very big, they don't do any vanity sizing. The seamstress said that this dress's lace seams are not complicated to take in because there is no beading.

This dress is beautiful, but our wedding venue has changed and is way more casual than this dress would be appropriate for. There are a lot of real bride pictures of this dress online, just google allure 9068 and you'll see how gorgeous it is. It is one of Allure's top sellers, and I am sad to have to let it go.

The back of this dress is definitely its best feature, but the front has that vintage, fitted lace, sheath look that is also very popular right now. Just so you guys know, the sash in the photos is not a part of the dress, I was just trying it on in the shop.

Like I said, this dress has never been worn or altered and if you chose this dress you'll be given a blank slate - just like buying a new dress, but with a nice discount.
