The Dress

Every girl dreams of keeping their wedding dress but it is with great sadness that I say goodbye to the dress that I got married in. I hope it will make another bride as happy as it made me.

Orinoco is a mermaid wedding dress, fitted to the hips, with a strapless neckline. Made of tulle, with lace and guipure floral motifs all over the body.

I loved that the blush/beige lining really brought out the beautiful layers of lace. It was also surprisingly light for a dress with 3 layers and a cathedral train.

The gown has been slightly altered to fit my size and height. I'm am 1.6m and was wearing 4 inch heels. I am usually a UK6 on top and a UK8 on the bottom. The cathedral train was not altered and retains all its romantic drama. I also added a bustle to make moving around easier.

I am also selling the matching veil that I got from Pronovias (Style: V_2896). The lace matches the dress perfectly. (Price of the gown excludes the veil)

Both gown and veil were purchased from The Proposal in Singapore. The gown was worn once for my wedding in October 2017 and has been professionally cleaned.
