The Dress

Coveteur magazine describes Laure de Sagazan as bringing her Parisian je ne sais quoi to bridal with her recreations of delicate vintage embroidery and antique lace from the turn of the century, which she’s dug up from deep within the archives of her French countryside suppliers. Her permanent collection of understated wedding dresses epitomize undone luxury, while remaining timeless and modern.

This Verlaine dress from her permanent collection is simple and elegant. The top is a scalloped design made with real Calais lace with a liner that drops into a showstopping deep v-back. From the waist down, the dress is made of soft silk with pearl buttons running down the back all the way to the floor. The dress is comfortable and flows beautifully.

I am 5'9" and wore 2 inch heels, and there is still excess fabric at the front and the train is full. There is a discreet bustle built into the back, as well as a press stud for the option of a higher v-back.

The dress has been fully professionally cleaned and will ship with the original box.

Very minor alternations were made to widen the arms slightly (1-2 mm) and take in the hips by less than an inch. The hip area is still roomy. I'm happy to share measurements if needed.
