The Dress

I designed this amazing dress and it was brought to life by an amazing Toronto designer, Maureen Patricia. I would love for someone else to enjoy it as much as I did. It has copper coloured sequins under the lace that are exposed on the sides and the back. They can also be flipped to either matte or sparkly (under the lace they are matte). There is a thin velvet band along the waist, and it's not shown in the photos but there is a slit in the skirt to mid-thigh with lace edging.

The back has a small repair, which was done not by the original seamstress as a small hole was torn in the delicate silk as it was transported by plane. The result is that there is a bit of a wave to the seam at the back, but if you don't know it's there you don't notice it, or it looks like part of the way it falls in the back. I'm sure a good seamstress could also make adjustments to get rid of the wave as there is lots of fabric there- I didn't have time to find a perfect solution as I had days before my wedding!
