The Dress
This is a dress I had custom made for the big day.
The top part is lace with a built in bodice, and was one of the dressmakers designs.
The bottom part is something I had completely redesigned. It has 3 different layers as follows:
- Layers of tulle which are not sewn together, so they move around in the breeze
- A layer of organza underneath (sheer).
- A lined lace skirt which for the most part, is hidden underneath.
The sizing was made to fit a standard size 6 (AU) as follows:
Bust: 81cm
Waist: 64cm
Hips: 89cm
I'm 152cms tall and wore approx. 5cm heels, so it would fit someone a little taller if you wanted to wear flats.
The dress was only worn for the ceremony and has been freshly dry cleaned.
