The Dress

An extraordinary opportunity to acquire an exquisite, never-before-worn, couture bridal gown by renowned London bridal designer, Sharon Cunningham, at a fraction of the retail price.
I purchased the gown from Sharon in September 2017 as a sample which had never been worn, displayed or even ever tried on. The gown originally retailed at £9,500. I paid £2,995 for the sample. As I didn’t have the opportunity to wear it, and it was never worn previously, it is literally brand new, unworn and absolutely pristine and immaculate.
It is truly a couture gown, using the very finest materials and constructed to perfection to flatter a bride’s figure. It is composed of a gorgeous duchess satin underlay, overlaid with stunning, bespoke lace. It has an incredible in-built secret corset which gives you an amazing figure from every angle, and a dramatic train. The fabrics are so sublime that they give the dress a lustrous, gleaming quality and feel so sumptuous to wear. For me, it was the ultimate bridal gown - luxurious, elegant, supremely flattering, breathtaking - it was perfection. Also, this design had never been made or sold before, so you will be the only bride ever to have worn this design!
With over 30 years in the bridal design industry, Sharon has dressed a number of celebrities, including Kate Winslet, Emily Blunt and Cheryl Cole, amongst others. From Sharon’s website, “Her expert eye in cutting a dress in the most flattering way and her attention to detail and knowledge of internal secret corsetry is a technical masterpiece, sculpting the female form to perfection”.
The gown is hemmed at approximately 174cm to the floor (i.e. I am 162cm and was planning to wear 12cm shoes). There is a little scope for lengthening, and shortening of course is very straightforward. It would fit a UK size 8 or 10.
