The Dress

I fell in love with this dress in a little boutique in Toronto! My mom and I had been to so many different places looking for a classic, elegant dress and this was the one! I tried it on with a cathedral length veil and the result was stunning. I am including that veil in the purchase as well (see picture). The dress also has the Fit Enhancer built in (corset type piece) and my tailor added in loops for a strapless bra.

The day of my wedding I loved that it could be adjusted to have a beautiful long lace train, which looked beautiful in pictures of the ceremony, and could be pinned up in a bustle that showcased beautiful cascades of lace. I danced all night in this dress and didn't find it too heavy or cumbersome to move around in.

I hate to see this beautiful dress sit in a box and hope that another bride can wear it and love it as much as I do!!

I bought the sample size and had it altered to fit my size 2 frame. The measurements are:

Bust: 32
Waist: 26 inches
Hips: 36 inches

I did not have the length altered at all, it was floor length with a train that could be pinned up in a bustle. I am 5'9 and found the length very elegant - I wore with flats but could have easily worn heels and the length would have been fine.
