The Dress

I bought this dress new in London for £2,000. The designer is Stone Fox brides who are in New York but this version of the dress is different to that on their website (much nicer) I wanted full sleeves and a finer lace. I got married in a garden so I really wanted a more relaxed, informal dress. This dress fitted the bill perfectly.

The back and sleeves are a gorgeous fine lace, there are small buttons down the back that sit flush on your back, the rest of the dress is a beautiful silk that flows beautifully, I felt amazing in this dress. Its incredibly flattering, took pounds off! The material at the front of the dress is slightly thicker so you can go without a bra (like I did). This dress was made for me heightwise and measures 58.24 inchs or 148cm from the top of the shoulder to the floor. I am 5ft 1 and a half and wore 4 inch feels which let the dress just touch the ground.

I am a size 8/10 but this dress, because it isn't fitted, would probably fit anything from an 8 to a 12. The dress had been dry cleaned and a small hole in the lace under the arm has been repaired (you would never know).

If you're looking for something a bit different then this is an absolutely gorgeous dress, really worth trying it on.
