The Dress
Purchased and altered at the infamous Kleinfeld’s in NYC, this dress fit me like a glove on our special day! As a plus size bride, I wanted a bodice that would give me shape and more of a waist than many dresses did, and this structured bodice gave me everything I wanted. I also wanted a strapless dress that didn’t leave my “girls” spilling over the top, and this top comes up just high enough to keep things classy, but still looked sexy and feminine.
The skirt has incredible, delicate, romantic flowers on the top layer, with simple beads and sequins to provide a little bit of shimmer. It has a french bustle, which I loved because it didn’t make my back side look enormous when bustled! I have never looked as beautiful as when I was in this dress.
It was perfect for our day, and I hope it will be perfect for yours!
The flower at the waist, pictured in the retail image of the dress, is not available. The sash I wore is a separate piece.
