The Dress

This was my dream dress and it could be yours too. This David Fielden masterpiece (called model 7108 from the 2011 Sposa Spring collection) is a rich warm ivory silk, floor-length with lace edging on the sexy, low back which is also mirrored on a lace asymmetrical panel running down the back of the skirt, and the front as well as the modern cap sleeves which are flattering and comfortable whilst remaining delicate.

The most amazing detail is the unusual neckline which features a drape of silk, discreetly secured at the shoulder which then gracefully drops down the back grecian-style. The overall effect is a drop-dead stunning Hollywood old glamour gown reminicent of the 1930's or art deco silhouettes of the 20's.

This dress was altered to fit my shape, so would best fit a size 10/12 waist (the gathered silk is so flattering for all shapes!) but you will need to be petite as I was 5 foot 4 in my wedding heels. There is a bustle if you would like a shorter train but personally I loved the puddle of silk at my feet!
