The Dress

The Vera Wang Gemma was the first dress I tried on and it was the only dress I could envision myself getting married in. It is the most BEAUTIFUL dress and I am very sad to part with it but lets be honest, this dress is of no use to me anymore and I can only hope it will bring joy and happiness to another bride as it did for me. I would rather pass on this dress to another bride who cannot afford to purchase it retail than have it sit in my closet.
I fell in love with dress as it embodied the classy but sexy look. The Vera Wang consultants called it "soft mermaid". It hugs your curves in just the right areas while creating a very soft and romantic feel. The blush beading on this dress is my favourite. It adds a little more to the dress than just your average ivory dress. It really is in the details.
I hope this dress finds a new home with another beautiful bride. For me, I will always have pictures to bring me back to my special day.

Bra strap inserts were put in so that you can wear a strapless bra without worrying about the bra showing. I felt this was most secure and looked the best as you could still wear a push up bra to give you the best look while feeling everything was still in place.
