I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it online and it was the final dress I tried on when shopping; it just didn’t compare to any others once on.
This dress is classic, flattering and oh so comfortable. Rue De Seine no longer stock this dress, but in my mind that makes it so much more special. It is a timeless piece and I received so many complements on this dress (the photo of me in front of the slat wall was actually a cover shot for a recent bridal special). I purchased it almost a year before my wedding through a previous Still White seller (new never been worn). It was purchased originally from The Bridal Artelier, Armidale Melbourne.
Details: French Lace gown with shoulder scallop, high neck and button back closure. Fitted bodice and waist going into a fuller skirt at hem. High/low hemline with full train and scalloped edge. Silk Crepe nude slip included. High round neckline with raglan shoulder sleeve.
It is labelled a size 6 but I would put it more at a size 8. I am 5”4 and usually wear a size 8 or occasionally a 10. I needed to do no alterations on this beauty. This dress is in fantastic condition and dry cleaned 2 days after wear. It comes boxed (there were faults in the original Rue De Seine bag. The dry cleaner advised boxing was the best protection for such a delicate dress) Happy to sell matching shoes and accessories if interested.
Bussle attached. Small tare in train - so small the drycleaner could not find it.
