The Dress

This is a beautiful example of the Pronovias Bernice dress which made me feel stunning on the most magical day. The dress hugs your figure perfectly without feeling tight or constricting, the skirt falls gently away from the hips and sweeps around the side giving a subtle waterfall silhouette. The dress is extremely light with the fabric being very soft and comfortable against the skin, the zip is hidden and runs down the back of the dress. I was able to fully appreciate the wonderful wedding breakfast and still move, dance, walk and sit in the dress. During the reception I used the skirt loop to pull the train off the floor, I loved the train so much that I decided to leave it down whilst I danced. The dress has been professionally cleaned and has come back looking and feeling like new. Part of the dry clean included the dress being packed away in tissue paper and large dress box to prevent lines or wrinkles forming.

The dress is a perfect size 10 and I have had no alterations done to the bodice or off shoulder straps. I have had the hem professionally altered to fit my height of 5'4 with 1 inch kitten heel. The dress has a bodice strap to fit around the torso, this allows the wearer to comfortably wear the dress without a bra. I had sew in bra cups added to add a little lift, these can be removed if needed. As an additional support for dancing my seamstress added three dress poppers to lift the whole skirt off the floor whilst maintaining the beautiful A-Line shape. I never used these in the end and they are very well hidden in the skirt layers, they can be easily removed if needed.

This is truly a beautiful dress and it is an emotional sale, I don't want to see the dress wasted in a box and feel that it will provide another bride the princess feeling that I got on my day.
