The Dress

It took me a very long time to find the right wedding dress. I was looking for something refined, elegant detailed and unique. I am also relatively small, so I had to choose something I was not going to drown in. After being dissatisfied with the styles and quality I found in bridal boutiques, I started searching elsewhere. Once I found Gwendolynne, I stopped looking. I appreciated almost every single model she designed, but the price tag was well out of reach. I began to investigate if there were any available secondhand. I was so pleased once I found the Hope dress, that I purchased it within a few days. When it arrived in the mail, it was even more beautiful and intricate then I imagined. I am sure whoever becomes the next owner will feel the same.

I bought this dress on Still White from Australia. I always intended to sell the dress afterwards, so took extreme care on the day of our wedding. I am very happy with its condition.

BUST 32" (81cm)
WAIST 26" (66cm)
HIPS 37.5" (95cm)

HEIGHT 5'4" (163cm)
NECK TO FLOOR 55" (140cm)
WAIST TO FLOOR 42" (107cm)
HEELS 1 3/4" (4.5cm)

Dress Details:
-There are cups built in, and I did not wear a bra. I was apprehensive about this at first, but it was perfectly fitted and very comfortable.
-The delicatly beaded bodice is fitted, so you would have to be comparable in size.
-It has a train which folds under and buttons back to hold it in place when not in use (which I forgot about when walking down the aisle).

Dress has been brought in on both sides about 1/2" (1.3cm)
Dress has been hemmed about 1"
Belt has been brought in about 1", but the fabric never cut, so it could be let out again.
