The Dress
A simple and understated design in satin back taffeta. The sweetheart strapless bodice is ruched and has a natural waistline. The gown is completed with a back bow detail that can be easily re-attached. The deep pockets are useful for keeping a handkerchief and perhaps a lipstick handy. In my case, they were additionally helpful for a particularly cold outdoor wedding and reception. I created my own embellishment and purchased a silver sash to tie around the dress. The classic look can be paired with many different ideas to make it your own! I wore the dress with a separate petticoat to make it a little fuller and to avoid any alterations aside from the bustle.
