The Dress

An elegant swoon-worthy dress with couture Marchesa beadwork, this is a once-in-a-lifetime gown. I did not want to take it off all night and sincerely considered living in it. It has a large and magnificent train and built-in bustle for dancing. It's the platonic ideal of a wedding dress with its cake-topper silhouette and detailed, hand-sewn beadwork. Sadly for me, moving into it is not an option, but luckily for you, it could have a second life.

If you don't know about the brand, via New York Magazine: In 2004, Marchesa was officially established, and quickly exploded as a favorite among celebrities and critics alike. In 2006, the label was named one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund's top ten finalists. Red-carpet stunners and paparazzi-friendly cocktail attire are Marchesa’s stock in trade, with intricate craftsmanship and whimsical flourishes quickly becoming house signatures.
