The Dress

Beautiful Sarah Seven the violet hour dress has Illusion lace on the bodice and soft flowing skirt (perfect for dancing!). The dress was purchased from the Bridal Atelier in Sydney in August 2015. The dress is completely handmade to a size 8, and I later took it to La Coutourier Alterations in Sydney's Dymocks building for alterations closer to my fit. The length of the dress was shortened slightly to be floor length without me tripping over it (my height is 165cm). The bodice of the dress was also taken in a little to fit me better, but the tailor informed me that fabric was not cut but rather folded back in order to achieve that so it can easily be let out again if needed. The tailor also put a tiny loop on the back of the dress so the train can hook on to it when you are dancing the night away!

I cannot stress enough how beautiful and comfortable this dress is to wear and am sad that I will only ever get to wear it once! It's sheer panel above the lace bodice means that unlike a strapless dress, you don't worry about the dress falling down and end up pulling on it all night. Instead you can completely relax knowing that you look beautiful and enjoy the beautiful day.

Length: 140cm at front, longer at back with a short train.

The dress has fabric folded in so if need be can be easily let out.
