The Dress

Selling my beloved dress!

The dress was bought from Luv Bridal brand new. The dress has lace, with a touch of beading, which slowly decreases as it flows to the lower end of the dress.

I have made some alterations to the dress, to make it strapless and more fishtail like (as you can see in the first and last picture, I kept the extra fabric that I removed to make it strapless so it could be put back on). I have also removed some of the boning as it was preventing me from moving freely and dancing!

I also wanted to make sure I could move around without worrying about the train while dancing/walking, so we added some knots for the train to be "pinned up" (see photo 5).

I had no problems with it being strapless, it stayed right in place as there is also a big strap inside the dress that helps keep it in place.

The dress was drycleaned from Couture Drycleaning & Fabricare in Applecross.
