The Dress

My gown was a custom variation of the One Day Bridal Mae Gown. It was worn in October 2015 and is a current style.

The backless detail of this dress is definitely the big feature, and is perfect for an elegant bride that wants something different and WOW factor for the back of the dress. I found it really hard to find a this style of backless dress with such lovely detail, so when I found it I fell in love.

I loved wearing it so much and hope that a new bride can feel as wonderful wearing an all lace dress!

Customised Details:

I chose a more 3D textured french lace that the original, this really made the lace detail stand out. I also had the gown made without sleeves which was the first time this gown had been created in this customised version! No one else has this style which I loved.

It comes with straight shear lace side panels from the side to to the back of the gown to highlight the backless scalloped lace. There is light boning on either side of the sheer panels to create extra support.

The neckline has customised a boat shape with additional scalloped appliquéd lace on the front to continue all the way to the back and match the beautiful lace detail of the backless shape.

It has an amazing train as seen in the photos and can easily be bustled via two buttons. One button is in the lining and the other is within the lace. This ensures the dress is not bunching when bustled and cascades nicely. The train can also be held around your wrist and makes the photos look so elegant.

The gold belt is removable and is not sold as part of the dress.

Size:

I am a size 10 and it was made for my height of 178cm. I wore 10cm heels with the dress. It is also fitted with C-size cup inserts.

Additional details:

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned at Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners in Armadale, VIC. I have also had it preserved in a white box and wrapped with acid free tissue to ensure the lace. It is in wonderful condition. The dry cleaning certificate is also available.
