The Dress

This is a very unique dress, perfect for if you're looking for something a bit different. I really struggled finding a dress I liked because I felt that all the styles available were so similar, especially in Melbourne. So few brides wear sleeves and being conscious about my shoulders this was a must have for me.

This dress has a very flattering v-neck slightly corseted although it's very gentle and won't weigh you down later in the day. it's more of a champagne color than ivory colored dress which I feel also sets it apart. The back has a matching V-neck, which compliments the front but also shows a bit more skin. I wore a vale for during the ceremony and photos, then at night removed the vale which provided a different look.

It's a very vintage style dress, or so I'm told, it has a very small train that can then be buttoned up for later in the evening. It's a very functional but flattering dress, with a zip and a few buttons up the back. Being a curvy girl this is great for similar types although if you're slimmer I'm sure the dress will be just as flattering and easy enough to take in.

The dress has a number of layers, but isn't too heavy. There's a couple lace layers, then cotton and polyester base. I actually removed 2 layers of the original lace as I felt it made the dress too busy.

I am 160cm tall and wore 5inch heels and the dress came to the floor perfectly.
