This is my mother's custom-made wedding dress from 1978. We had it professionally cleaned recently and the material is still intact and looking good. This dress is for the bride who wants a modest, vintage look. The neckline is square but the lace goes right up to the neck. There are flower appliques along the neckline and base of the dress. The underneath material only goes to mid-calf. There is enough material to enlarge the dress to a street size 4. The only stain on the dress is in the bottom right part of the skirt. It's about the size of the base of a pop can. There is enough material in the skirt to cut out this portion without looking awkward. The dress was originally worn with a separate hoop skirt. This dress really needs to be seen!
