Taffeta empire waist gown with bias-cut banded bodice, net overlay, and attached sash.
Banded, bias-cut bodice layered with raw-edged taffeta and delicate net.
A study in contrasts, net veiling over taffeta creates a full skirt that is remarkably light and airy. Skirt pockets and petal styling in back complete the look.
The wide sash looks sensational tied in a bow at the empire waist, or tied in back.
Modern cathedral-length train (63 from waist). Fully lined. Back zip. Dry clean only.
I had the dress taken in slightly around the chest and shortened a little bit (I am 5'11''). It has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear again!
It was perfect for an August wedding - breezy and comfortable. The pockets are amazing - a place to put some small items for the day of.
As it is such a flowing dress, there is plenty of room in the lower half - it might easily fit somebody who normally wears a size 14 or 16.
