The Dress

This is a stunning dress with lovely lace appliques over tulle skirt.

The description on the designers website reads:

A-line gown with a deep V neckline, frosted Venice Lace appliques on a Tulle skirt with a wide scalloped hemline.

It has only been worn once at my wedding in February 2019 (purchased late November 2018)and 2 alterations to cap sleeves and length. The dress has been dry cleaned and is stored in a breathable bag which keeps it pristine and dust free. The dress is in excellent condition.

The dress is still on sale in bridal shops and retails for over £1,000

I received many compliments on the dress and felt comfortable in it all day. The bodice holds you in just the right amount and there is boning to the bodice which can be seen at the back.

There is a zip at the lower back of the dress (buttons cover this)and buttons continue mid way up the back. A couple of the elastic loops for the buttons will need replacing, again, a seamstress can easily replace these.

Tie ribbons have been added to the dress (underskirt, not visible externally) to enable the dress to be put up into a bustle.

I paid £200 for the alterations and a further £100 to have the dress dry cleaned and it has come up perfectly clean ready for another lady to wear on her special day.

Alterations

Alterations made to cap sleeves to sit on shoulder, could easily be changed by seamstress

Hem taken up to adjust to my height. I am 5'4 " and wore 4" heels (although dress could have been taken up another inch easily)

Ribbon ties added to underskirt to enable dress to have bustle for evening as in one of the photos as dessmakers. If you wanted a bit of sparkle added, a good dressmaker can easily add to the dress.
