The Dress

This dress is by David Tutera for Mon Cheri Spring 2015 Bridal Collection. I saw this dress online in 2017 and fell in love with it. Once I have seen it at the bridal store, nothing else compared to it. It was the very first dress I tried on and after several visits to other bridal stores and several fittings with other dresses, I kept coming back to this dress. I am so glad I did because it is stunning, soft, delicate, comfortable and priceless. It is such as shame to think it will only ever be worn once, so I hope someone else loves and enjoys it as much as I did.

This is an A-line wedding gown, with stunning illusion lace framing the sweetheart bodice and back. The beautiful lace back bodice features button covered closures. The delicate floral lace cascades through the bodice and into the full A-line skirt. It sparkles with intricate detailing of clear sequins throughout the whole dress. Although the pictures are in blush, the dress is in Ivory. Also, I wore a slip with this dress that I can include as well!

The dress has been professionally cleaned a few days after the wedding. It is preserved and sealed in a box.

Alterations

The straps on the shoulders were shortened to fit body frame. Cups were sewed into the bodice. The delicate buttons on back were reinforced to avoid pulling apart. A button for bustle was added. The lace was hemmed by hand.
