This is a beautiful Justin Alexander dress-simple, yet I felt very glamerous. The style is 'Fit and Flare Gown with Illusion Keyhole Back with Intricate Beading'. The main dress is very fitted but isn't clingy material. There are under-layers but I didn't have a hoop added underneath. The train is long enough to show off the buttons (all intact) and draws the eye down from the lower back. There is a zip beyond the lower back with the buttons stitched onto the dress. It has 2 wrist attachments to allow for dancing without it dragging on the floor. The sweatheart cut softens the neckline, and doesn't draw the eye to a large bust like myself. I also loved the way the dress is off the shoulder, as it helps soften broad shoulders. I didn't feel at risk of it falling dows as it's held in place by the buttons at the top of the illusion back. The gold filigree is beautiful, and has the same material as the illusion back across the top of the cleavage. The bust section is stitched so that you don't need a bra but still feel supported (despite a ceilidh and dancing!).

I would say the colour was more Ivory than cream, and the gold filigree is very subtle and not too brash.

I'm very happy to be contacted with questions about the dress. I was extremely comfortable in it and felt wonderful all day-I hope someone else can enjoy it too.

Alterations

The alterations by a professional seamstress:

- Length: Cut to sit on top of shoes with a 3 inch heel. My height is 5ft 4".

- Bust: 34 inch

- Waist: 26 inch

- Hips: 34 inch
