The Dress

This dress was worn one night only for my wedding in Kauai in May of 2018. I debated selling my dress because I am so in love with it still, but can't seem to think of another opportunity where I would wear it so I thought I would pass it on to someone else who might be able to enjoy it!

This dress is beautiful with a soft chiffon overlay that includes embroidered/beaded flowers. The slip underneath is 100% silk and so so comfy. The best part is that there is a pseudo midriff around the waistline that is still covered by chiffon, but give this otherwise sweet dress a little bit of sass. Cap sleeves open up to a keyhole back that is held together at the nape of your neck by a delicate button.

The dress is completely undamaged with no tears or missing embroidery/beads. There is some slight staining on the bottom edge of the train that is less than 0.5 a cm traveling up the dress. There is also some light staining that is about 1.5 inches up from the base of the hem on the lining, but with the chiffon over it it is barely noticeable.

It has been dry cleaned and preserved in a box which is how it will be shipped to you!

Alterations

The dress I ordered was a split size - 0 on the top and a 6 on the bottom. I had to have the bottom of the dress taken in slightly, as I am normally a size 4 in clothing and a size 27 in jeans. My measurements are listed above. I wore flat shoes, and the hem rested just touching the ground (to cover my shoes). There were cups added to this dress as you cannot wear a bra.
I also had a bustle added to the back which is a double bustle - the silk layer underneath bustles in a french bustle fashion with ties, and the top chiffon with beads is bustled in a triple American bustle fashion with small clasps on portions of the embroidery to make them invisible. Since the embroidery is heavy, this prevents any damage to the dress.
