The Dress

When I tried this dress on I knew it was the perfect one for me. I wanted something that felt very elegant and special with beautiful details and a bit of sparkle but without feeling restricted by a giant dress full of multiple layers! The sparkles catch the light beautifully giving the dress that extra special feel without being over the top glitz!

This dress is perfect if you would like to feel elegant on your special day but also feel comfortable moving around, and most importantly being able to enjoy the dancing! We had a ceilidh and I was very happy to be able to join in with the dancing with the train hooked up. I'm so glad I went for a dress that didn't restrict me.

I'll be sad to see this dress go as I felt so special in it on my wedding day and have had so many compliments on how beautiful it was. I'd like it to go to a new home now though so it can be enjoyed again rather than sitting in a box. I hope you love it as much as me!

Alterations

I had to have this dress reduced by one size (down to a size 8 high street) and shortened at the front so please do look at the photos to get a good idea of what it looks like after alterations. I am a consistent size 8 in high street shops and am 5ft6 and wore a small heel on the day. I also had a bustle added so the train can be hooked up for the dancing. I'm happy to answer questions and send more photos if you've got specifics you'd like to check.
