The Dress

CONTEMPORARY, ONE OF A KIND, TIMELESS, CUSTOM-MADE DRESS.

I wore this to my wedding in October 2018 and felt so incredibly glamorous. My vision for the dress was to be minimalist, modern, bold and different.

I worked with my designer painstakingly over a number of months to get each part right.

The dress is modeled off two signature bridal dresses: 'Kingston' by One Day Bridal (the bottom) and 'Decklyn' by Hayley Paige (the top).

The dress features beautiful cut outs on the side, a deep V-neck at the front, and two panels on the back.

The train, the most gorgeous feature, comprises 5 layers beautifully constructed to "float" as I walked. A wrist strap to hitch up the train is hidden within these layers.

I am a true size 8, perhaps on the smaller side, but there is a little stretch in the fabric.

The veil, bought for over $200, will come free with the dress. The dress has been dry cleaned by Leon's (receipt can be provided - cost nearly $400).

My approximate measurements on the day (keep in mind there is a little room for stretch):
31-32" bust.
27-28" waist.
35-36" hips.
I am 164cm tall and wore 12 cm heels. The dress can easily be taken up due to the layering.
