The Dress

Simple, column dress with a deep V back, thin straps and a lace 'jacket' over the top. It has a very small train and I had a small bustle put in for the evening (it is just a piece of ribbon on the inside that you tie at the lining). I had the straps shortened slightly and the lace jacket tacked on at the waist - these were the only alterations it had from the standard bridal size 12 measurements. The dress is quite long (with my heels I am 5'11'') so it could easily be altered to suit most heights.

The dress was very comfortable on the day (it didn't need any adjusting and I even managed the toilet on my own!) and I got lots of compliments and felt really beautiful.

The dress has been dry cleaned but there are some small marks at the hem that would not come out, the biggest of which is pictured. I would suspect that since these are so close to the hem, the material would be removed for most people anyway when altering the length.

I also had a Sassi Holford floor length veil on the day which I will include with the dress. I am not charging for it because I had to remove it from the comb on the day because it would not go into my hairdo! We just pinned it in my hair with grips and it looked beautiful. It is a very simple and soft veil.
