The Dress

Alterations:
I am 5'3 in height, as such I had the dress altered to my height when wearing 10cm heels. I am a UK size 8 and had the dress taken in around my torso accordingly. The dressmaker essentially took it down one size from what I bought (I couldn't find the size 8 in the shop, that is why I bought the larger size and altered it).

My personal experience:
I could comfortably walk without stepping on the dress. There is a beautiful trail at the back, which can be bustled when dancing/if you prefer. It isn't heavy despite the beading and lace, and is flattering around your body shape.

Drycleaning:
I had the dress professionally drycleaned and hung back properly in it's suit bag.

Alterations

Altered to size 8 dimensions. Height is for a 5'3 person with 10cm heels.
