The Dress
This stunning dress was custom made for my June 2018 wedding.
It is made of white mid century (vintage) Quaker Lace (cotton). It is perfect for a traditional or easy going bride!
I am 175cm tall and the dress was made to floor length to suit an 8cm heel. It comes with a cream coloured silk slip which really makes the detail of the lace stand out. This could easily be changed to a white slip for a very white bridal look.
The fit is very generous and the cotton has a slight stretch. I am a size AU 14-16 and this dress would easily fit up to size AU16-18 as I felt it was a bit loose on my day. It is also an extremely easy design to alter to fit a smaller size. There is a fluted bottom (no train) and capped sleeves. I loved this dress - it was so cool and comfortable during my desert wedding! I was cooler than my groom in his very light suit!
