The Dress

The dress:
The materials used and details included make this dress spectacular - photos do not do it justice. It feels like an absolute dream. The lightweight and airy nature made it perfect for my destination wedding but it would be just as ideal for a ballroom wedding. Until you touch the dress and see it up close and put it on your body, you can't truly appreciate what magic Jenny Packham is! This dress was worth every penny but it doesn't make sense for it to sit in my closet. I paid $6100 CAD and I am asking $4000 - I am open to negotiate depending on the buyer's location, as I will be covering the shipping costs.

Size:
The label size is UK16. At the time of the wedding I wore about a 10-12 US. I can provide my actual measurements if need be (I have them written down at home) but I was about 36-31-40 at the time of the wedding. I am 5'6 without shoes and at the time of the wedding wore a large C/small D.

Alterations:
Alterations were very minimal. I had the waist/bust area taken in about 1-2 inches. It was shortened for me to wear with 3 3/4 inch heels. A three point bustle was added (as seen in photos). The day of the wedding I stepped on the front so there is a tiny rip in the under layer but it has been repaired. it is definitely not visible unless you are hunting for it.

Cleaning:
I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned by Dove Cleaners, a store in the GTA that is renowned for their work with bridal gowns. I wore the dress from 4pm-midnight on the day of the wedding and the next day for a one hour photoshoot.

Payment:
I accept Paypal and will mail the dress once I receive the money.

Shipping:
I will ship the dress with a signature required and will have it insured.
