The Dress

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for any wedding, but was excellent for our destination wedding in Jamaica. It easily fit into a standard size garment bag with several other articles of clothing. It is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Even in the Jamaican heat, I didn't find it too warm to have on.

The dress is all white lace. It has some beading along the sweetheart neckline to add a bit of sparkle. The beading wraps and tapers just under the arms and I didn't find it uncomfortable or scratchy at all.

Alterations:
- It originally had a zip up back, but I had a corset closure (lace up back) put in.
- Spaghetti straps were sewn in and are optional.
- An elastic bra strap was put in for additional support, but can easily be removed.
- The length was shortened in the front to just hit the floor and kick out nicely when walking. The train was left untouched.
- A bussle was put in on the inside and outside. Blue ribbon ties the interior bussle and there is a tiny loop to attach the outside bussle at the base of the corset.
- I have a larger bust (32G/34G) but this dress can easily be altered for a smaller bust. For larger busts...the alterations made worked really well.

The dress was hardly worn...a grand total of 2 1/2 hours. Enough to get married, have a quick reception and take pictures.
